Badass man. That turbo will spool nicely for this motor. With one amazing powerband as well. These GTX series turbos are nothing to mess with. Are you shooting for 600whp? It can easily be done with this turbo that's for sure!

Capping it at 550-600whp, I just want a nice powerband with crazy fast response. IC will be v-mount , hoping to use less than 1ft of piping.

You honestly couldn't have picked a better turbo for this application.

I thought the same thing... the plug n play complete ems setup will be available soon and will make things very "open source".

I've always felt that the S54 is the new and much improved + technologically advanced 2JZ.

Ehhh mechanics wise yes since the 2JZ is a 20 yr old motor so is does have the technology aspect but when it comes to maintenance and building around the 2JZ platform there isn't really any motor that is on the same page esp with the vanos etc. But I would like to see compared to the new M3/4 and see how much power those guys can make on stock bottom end once into production.

Tonester... Did you have a 350z back in the day? Used to make carbon fiber pieces for it as well? lol

Best of luck on the build!

Yes, as reliable and great the ESS kit has been to me for the past 3 years... I need more torque in the lower RPM's.

We hold the RWD Class Record, and I want to go faster!!

Looking good! Where did you source the divided vband housing and merge? I tried searching all over but couldn't find it.
