DEFIV fab Titanium //M diff lockdown pic

Here's one of the Ti //M lockdowns. Very time consuming, I don't see many getting made overall. As it stands now,10 seems like a reasonable number...2lbs, 10 oz with poly bushings installed.Click here to enlarge

Dropped by the Defiv shop today, looks like he's doing a complete custom on a Ford. Massive engine, custom suspension work. Nothing off the shelf & super clean.

Here's a pic of the titanium brace on the seat he's working on for the same car. Click here to enlarge

    That looks awesome.
Can it only be used for M3's?
Is there a price for this item?

Ha! Facilities, more like "proper utilization of limited space"...contrary to popular belief,I do all this in a "cozy" single bay shop on my property, surrounded by fields and most importantly quiet...granted there are several little "sub-stations" scattered about for tube bending, polishing etc. Why, one may ask?-main reason being is I'm incredibly stubborn when it comes to my craft, I'd rather suffer in a small shop than compromise my fundamentals or do things that don't interest me in order to achieve some crazy overhead.
Also, expansion would require hiring...people. Nope. Not gonna do that. Not going to grow beyond my means, although building a new shop is in the cards. I'm not really in a rush, I'd rather be a little secret than try to build an empire. By appointment only, never gonna change thatClick here to enlarge
I do get the occasional dumbfounded look of "You do all that...in THERE?!?"

I think the shop is just fine. Maximizing your resources is something I'm familiar with.

Ok here it is #01 for the Ti setup.

Nice work Rick. Thanks for all your help and expertise.
Only had a few miles on my new diff lock system and first thing I did was ck for some wheel hop. Lets just say that's not a problem anymore. Click here to enlarge
I'm not much for words when it comes to posting review on forums. But here it goes. My main goal was to solve my issues with the more pronounce wheel hop i was getting do to more HP from the SC. Just like what I said before that is no longer an issue. The car feels more sold/controllable when putting power to the road.
NickB316 reviews for the diff lock seems to be encouraging the same for me. But would like to put more hrs on the road to see if anymore positive or negative situation arise.

Again thanks Rick for making/installing this great product in my //M Click here to enlarge
Also was a pleasure to have meet you. The wash and detail was a nice touch. Cool Click here to enlarge

    regards
