    Too lazy to plot it on a chart but looks like timing dropped down to 3 degrees post shift before coming back up? Which, is basically what the post shift timing drop issue is. Only over a second or two rather than just a couple data points. What makes it so frustrating is that it will come and go. Changing on a whim. Unless you happen to monitor advance all the time in dash or log often you might never notice it. And there are cars that for some reason never experience it. So if you are not effected consider yourself lucky. The only explanation I've ever come up with is some hidden load based timing table triggering some sort of a torque limit. Rescaling everything to run a lower load on our flash basically solved it.

    Thats what I like to hear, NO METH. I have never been a fan of using meth on the N54. For us here in Florida E85 + 93 Octane will be a heaven for us. Wow finally what I believed in this platform is coming true. Easy azz 10 sec car with these turbos especially paired with a DCT N54 and RENNtech's camshafts.
    From what I recall, you haven't encountered clutch slip, but if you plan to go this route and lay down heavy torque, what do you plan to upgrade the DCT with?

    I may give SSP a try on their softer clutch pack and have the bar pressure raised. Before this though I will have to find the wtq limit onthem.

    Last I checked, you can monitor those things in INPA but you can't output the data to a log. Live video of INPA in action?

    PS Dzenno the above statement should clue you in as to why you haven't seen a log yet.

    Err... you did flatline. Look at the -10.12 correction in 1st. Also you're running low timing across the board for an E85 map.

    The 3 degree event is traction related.

    Oops no its not, thats a drop related to boost mean abs overshooting. Should be quick to fix.

    I was thinking BT tool as it can log...benzy's got a timing correction one one cylinder (pretty bad) not a "flatline" in applied timing..different as you know..unless you're talking another log

    @benzy89 , on complete separate note why isn't your tune more aggressive it seems there is a lot more headroom with E85

    Actually any post shift timing issues relating to 6AT can be considered flatline, but thanks for being so technical.

    $#@!ing stock turbos man. The boost is already maxed on the 93 octane map, so it's not like we can add more on the E85 tune. SO all you can do is add some (safe) additional safe timing. It def wasn't a quality log & I'd be willing to take more, but my AP $#@! the bed over the weekend so I had to ship in to COBB for a screen replacement Click here to enlarge

    Sure especially when you're logging off cylinder 1 and cylinder 1's timing is timing-corrected. There's simply no way to know any better. Otherwise I'd simply disagree.

    I was running close to your boost level, but had more timing in it. granted I was running meth, but even without meth and on E50 Dzenno was able to squeeze may be 3-4 more degrees of timing with no timing drops whatsoever. Just a thought Click here to enlarge

    There is definitely a HUGE correction in cylinder 1 on those logs @benzy89 just like @dzen no and @themyst said...

    I attached a picture....Never seen such a large correction myself in any of my own testing...Would have me worried for sure but really surprising how its such a large correction on only one cylinder...

    FWIW Many a time you'll simply have cylinder 1 quiet and never/rarely complain (timing correct). Tuning high powered N54 (large turbo or turbos) with the way JB/Procede log timing today (just cylinder 1 and flying blind on timing in the other 6 cylinders) is just really risky business IMHO. Doesn't give you an opportunity to realize any issues early on and address them on time.

    It may just be heavy carbon buildup in that cylinder slightly changing compression characteristics there (but not other cylinders) and may just need a good valve cleaning or maybe some seafoam might help clean the piston tops or maybe even a bad spraying injector might be needing replacement.

    As much as I have used the JB4 with success in the past and still think its a simple, easy, efficient, and amazing tool for the right person....I have to agree with you that this is a GOOD example why just having access to cylinder 1 could be a nightmare..

    No, that's a recent log when I filled up, just wanted to data log for myself. It's possible that the E85 wasn't up to "par", but it wouldn't explain the completely timing correction free section of the log. The car is about to hit 50k (~20k with the BMS OCC installed), so an intake valve cleaning is probably coming up soon.

    Does anybody know if I can log with someone else's AP since mine is being serviced by COBB?? Sure I can find someone local to borrow from them & take 1 or 2 logs.

    So I've been driving the car everyday since ive gotten it back.
    All i can say is the acceleration is unreal. The first time my wife sat in the car and I did a hard 3rd gear pull her reaction was priceless (I should have recorded it with my Gopro)
    The turbos spooling up sounds intoxicating. ( First time I heard them I called Tony cause I thought something was wrong.lol)
    Can't wait for everyone to get their stage 3's, so I can keep my car permanently.
