hah! i've run different versions of the procede on my car for 90k miles without any issues. i know what i'm doing, things will go smoothly on that front. plus this isn't the first turbo upgrade i've done (been running 'stage 1' style ones for about 45-50k miles now)

If everything goes smoothly with the install and i get the car back earlier than later this coming week with enough time to adjust the tune to my liking, then i'll go that very next weekend. if there isn't enough time ill go the following weekend. either way i'll have logs/videos (which will go to tony first - beta tester rules)

Damn JP. Looking forward to hear your reviews. You were one of the first to get any type of turbo upgrade for this platform and going from EPL to Vargas stage 2 is going to be epic. Can't wait to hear your results.

what suspension did you have though? subframe and diff bushings, a lsd, and kw3s with proper rubber should be 200x better than stock

As for my set theyll be in Monday Click here to enlarge otherwise theyd be in by sunday....

But i have some other things I can tackle in the mean time after work... mine will be in by Next weekend..

as for a pre dyno I dont think I am going to take mine because of the odd smoking issue, I dont know if the numbers will be accurate... but we all know if it makes 500ish on a dynojet theyre golden... dyno appt the following week will be made once terry and I are happy with tune

Honestly I just didn't feel like dumping all the money into suspension when it still wouldn't feel like how I want it to feel (like the M3). But I had a LSD and then just stock suspension / eibach springs.

But for the price difference you could upgrade everything. and no it will not be an M3, but it will be a damn good 335.

I've never driven an e90 m3 but I think the 335 with the stock sport suspension handles pretty damn well. Does the rear end freak out under heavy acceleration when your FBO? Sure, but compared to my old 05 Subaru Sti the 335 rides like a cadillac, and handles way better too. I'm sure if I test drove an m3 my view point could change.

im in a FBO E90 with stock sport suspension, and my car hooks up great. But again, Im not racing it around a track or through canyons. Just straight line stuff.

for what its worth i agree out stock suspensions are kinda shltty.... but i think it can be addressed and made pretty good... but in the end our car is NOT an m3 nor will it ever be one regardless of the "bits" you add to it. I forgot he came from an M so it makes sense. But any stock shock + spring combo is going to leave a lot to be desired with our cars stock habbits....

    back to turbos..
