    I think I might be more psyched to see the results from these stage 2 turbo's then the stage 3. Stage 2's are a very realistic option for me. Hopefully one of these will make it on the dyno this week.

    S3's could be a realistic option as well, just run them with lower boost!

    I agree that stage 2's are very exciting!

    Shop called, they need a couple more parts that they hadn't anticipated. I'm having them do all sorts of random maintenance things while the car is under the knife, the parts are related to that. I should have my car back by Wednesday at the latest (depends on if the parts are in stock locally). Dyno won't be until the following weekend, which is what i was anticipating anyways.

    I've never driven an e90 m3 but I think the 335 with the stock sport suspension handles pretty damn well. Does the rear end freak out under heavy acceleration when your FBO? Sure, but compared to my old 05 Subaru Sti the 335 rides like a cadillac, and handles way better too. I'm sure if I test drove an m3 my view point could change.
    It doesn't need to be FBO. My buddies stock 335is is sloppy as hell under heavy acceleration. Embarrassing BMW made the like that.

    that's correct - a couple years ago I was the first (or one of the first) to get "upgraded" turbos. They were made by TIAL: equivalent to what you would call "stage 1". Upgraded billet compressor, but with a stock CLIPPED turbine (and no upgraded wastegate components)
