The C63 Black Series makes more power from what I have seen: http://www.benzboost.com/content.php...yno-comparison

Do you have a P31 baseline?

From personal experience, heat soak is a $#@! and stock FMIC don't handle it well at all.

But clearly the C63 won, good race!

Let's just be happy the M5 didn't go limp. The owner probably did though.

Planning to get a baseline dyno soon at my usual local Dynojet at SpecialtyZ in Chatsworth. Then I will install the longtubes and tune and go back.

I was the Alpine White E92 335i with stock black rims...License plate 3DERTY5...

Easy way to remember me is I had the $#@!ty stock rims on for the event...Only bc I was worried about popping a tire on the way to/from the event and getting stuck...

Considering how this M5 performed against a certain Weistec C63 BS I figured this would be an easy win. Oh wait....

It's not just weight it's aero.

Despite having 100whp on an E60 M5, the top speed isn't any different. An F10 cuts a big hole in the air

I know right ? LMFAO. How bout this - buy a car that isn't a piece of $#@! that can only run once before it overheats. I've said it before regarding certain cars and power adders that only have a short peak performance life - if they can't achieve the same, consistent results all day long on the street and on the track in 100 degree heat then it's a worthless piece of $#@!.

    EDIT -

I ran the Weistec E63 biturbo and that thing never had heat soak AND it had the upgraded turbos. Go figure.

Anyone that knows me, knows that I am a BMW M Fanboy for life...heck look at my screen name! But damn, do I want a C63, C63BS, and E63 Estate....hehe.

Nice work @xtyper . If you have mods planned for this car, I imagine it still stomp on tuned F10 M5s!

Ya it's pretty often that plus 100 whp at peak doesn't translate to more torque under the curve when coming from a twin turbo V8 versus a naturally aspirated one. Good point.

Tq down low is useless, lets talk about their power ands during max straight line acceleration. Does the f10 fall off like the n54 the closer you get to redline?
