    Well my day just got better, not! Car was in for a oil service today and the tech noticed that the gearbox was "whining" How he heard it over the Borla exhaust i dont know but said it sounds like it is on its way out!

    May be it was just something else buddy. They don't break that easily you know. Some people abuse the $#@! out of them before they start slipping in a gear at heavy load.

    Flash the Alpina b4 software as well, will help the tran handle the extra torque.

    Had a smoke test done which found nothing. Will check over everything again tomorrow. Noticed a bit of a rattle today as well.

    anytime buddy. those canisters might be the problem sometime. Take a look at the connection on the bottom of them and make sure all is good

    Then you measure the vacuum on the back side of the solenoid to see if it has 20". If it does but solenoid doesn't then its something with the solenoid or control system. If back side doesn't have 20" either then its a vacuum line leak somewhere between the solenoid and the vacuum pump.
