    600whp V vs 690whp ZL1

Good runs....kind of astonished the V did what it did but then again the ZL1s have not been impressive in any vids running against anything....

What's wrong with ZL1's? Just read an article about it and it wasn't THAT bad.

Zl1's where also faster than the new GT500..

Who's car's are these?? They're local to me but i've never seen them.

if infact both cars are 600-690 then its impossible that the ZL1 lost. I smell fishy'ness going on

These cars are related. Same motor and blower. But I think the Zl1 is lighter and has 90whp more. Something not right.

Unless you are talking about a track that has turns, the new GT500 would walk away from a ZL1 without effort.

Stock v. Stock, the GT500 is the slayer

BUT the LSA is def a more explored motor for aftermarket potential (LSA is in the Cadillac CTS-V and ZL1). It's also helps that the LSA is essentially the same motor in the ZR1 (LS9) just with a different CR and bits (blower, cams, forged internals), which can easily be swapped into the LSA.

It seems (from what i read) The ZL1 could become a absolute beast with mod's. (any big displacement motor really but.. )

But its just been de-tuned and well, its new.

Not de-tuned, it's def been setup with a different HP "cap" than the LS9

Exactly, the ZL1's horsepower advantage should put it ahead. This doesn't make sense.

Not versus the GT500 motor. The blown Cobras have been making absurd power back since '03.
