That's economical, actually. So you'd figure somewhere under 5 and above 3 for the n54.

You forgot to add the BMW tax.. IF anyone ever made one, it would probably be 10k. But they wont ever make one, so it doesn't matter lol.

The only thing I want my 335i (n54) to be similar to the supra (2jzgte) is the fact that they are ridiculously priced for it being that old and even with over 100k+ miles.

Theres alot of reputable engine builders in the Honda community, many have different opinions on what is best. Go Figure.

Like i said, if Dart made the best block, the fastest cars would use it. Plain and simple. I'm pretty sure most people are tired of seeing us bicker about honda blocks, so im going to stfu now.

    I agree:

Dart’s billet block is the block of choice in the fastest Pro Modified, Top Fuel, and other high-powered vehicles in the world. If you’re in need of custom options for making big horsepower – and we’re talking in most cases from the 2,000-plus neighborhood to over 4,000 – a Dart billet block and matching billet heads can have a substantial technical advantage. Says Dart’s Jack McInnis, “When you’re making extreme levels of power, the billet block offers the best technology and materials available.”

I like a lot of boost, i wouldnt run the dart block. it only comes in 84.5mm bore, or you can go bigger if you bore it out. For extremely high boost applications, that leaves a ticking time bomb because the material is so thin between the cylinders. Head gasket issue? Click here to enlarge

Do you have any evidence of it being a ticking time bomb?

Come on man, they run the Dart blocks at the highest levels. I think a dedicated aftermarket race block is going to be preferable to sleeves.

@DefactoM6 Well done sir, the points were really concise and well made. Its amazing how small minded people will resort to name calling or berating people because they differ in a view. I've said many times to friends that the N54/335i is the modern day Supra to me. While they are technologically different they share the same characteristics and the same general hurdles to serious HP. FWIW fuel and aftermarket support have created major limitations for the motor, which is a nice piece IMO. I rather like the 335 cars myself after @Blaizon purchased a sedan and coupe I really enjoyed the power. Quiet as hell and no exhaust sounds good on them IMO but thats just me. Anyway good read, interesting points and counterpoints in some cases.

I concur! @Sledgehammer, I have plans...I'm keeping quiet for now. Once tuning is in place, the hardware will be easy with the resources I have access to.

Yeah its childish to to neg rep the dude like that but its been done to many here... In any case @DefactoM6 I couldnt agree more and while Sticky made some valid counterpoints. They way we say things can overshadow the point, we're all guilty of it at some point I guess.
