    New tires, help me decide

Im looking for some new tires. Key points:

    1. It is a weekend car
    2. straight line accleration a high priority, BUT MUST be able to still handle like a sports car, ie, M3/996/Corvette Click here to enlarge
    3. road noise needs to remain at civil levels
    4. rain use is not likely, but possible
    5. 19 " wheels

    Tires Im currently cross shopping:

    BRIDGESTONE POTENZA RE-11

    TOYO PROXES R888

    HANKOOK VENTUS R-S3

    NITTO NT555

    NITTO NT05

    NITTO INVO

    MICHELIN PILOT SUPER SPORT

If you have any first hand knowledge of positives or negatives of any of these, I would be very appreciative

nt555 don't really belong in those typse of wheels but I heard great things about them. I have the nt05's and for the price and performance it gave me, I don't think I'd go any other route. I heard the rs3's and the R888's are the best though. Michelin and bridgestone are just $$$.

My vote will go to nt05. Best bang for the buck.

PSS is a great tire fo a DD.
Good mileage, excelent grip in dry and wet, predictable fall off point. Great tire overall.
Only downside to it is a slightly soft sidewall which allows for some side movement. But the reason that you notice that is also due to the fact that the contact surface is so grippy...

I keep hearing GREAT things about the Hankook RS3. Too bad they're sold out until April.
