    AmericanBoost.com or DomesticBoost.com site addition?

Pick your favorite name. Vbulletin screwed up the other threads when I tried to merge into a thread with a poll, wonderful.

AmericanBoost makes the most sense, DomesticBoost would be whatever is "domestic" to whoever's logging in & we have some Euro BB Members who would call their BMW/Mercs/P-Cars "domestics"

Americanboost just isn't that catchy. You want something that'll catch people's eye especially on google searches and such. Hmmmm......

IDk, you kind of have to stay with the format of XXXXboost. I guess when you have a few reasonable suggestions start a poll.

DomesticBoost sounds better out of the two. I'd assume your target members in that network would be primarily from America switching over from another site or adding it. plus, dont most Europeans refer to Domestics as "American Muscle"? so its something they already associate it to rather than a technicality.

    thats just me.

i'd say Americanboost would work as far as the network....since it would align with the name Germanboost etc. i'm assuming you would then have it broken down into fordboost, chevyboost, etc.?

'domestic' could mean too many different things for folks outside of the US...

It would be good to hear opinions from BB members outside of the USA. I think " domesticboost" sounds better. I'm not sure if "domestic" is a slang term for American built cars or not over in other parts of the world.

No. Maintaining an additional three frontpages will be incredibly taxing. I could try to do ford.americanboost.com and chevy.americanboost.com but without the individual front page for each, just individual forums.

I like "domesticboost" for how catchy it is, but "americanboost" aligns more with "germanboost".

I did end up voting for domesticboost though. Just sound alot cleaner. Has less potential to shut out people from other countries, I think? Not sure about that last bit.

Might be but I have never heard of it.
Need a euroboost or alot more regular UK users on here theres loads of UK / Euro based bimmer forums but they are mostly crap

Having said that domestic beer / lager is well known for being American so I suppose some people here would associate the term with American cars

I'd say split it into the different makes like you do for the German cars. MoparBoost, ChevyBoost, OvalBoost, etc.

As already written I just won't be able to maintain that many front pages.
