That car will die at the 1/4 mile mark let alone the 1/2 mile.

Looks like a pretty realistic win to me, and in general what electric vehicles do to their combustion engine counterparts. The electric car is excelling at not needing to shift and having almost all its power from a stop, but losing out on power at higher speeds. I wouldn't call this video propaganda; it's a realistic situation with a realistic outcome.

Is there a video of one raping a m3? Then we can really see sticky type paragraphs that no one will bother reading.

It isn't realistic because if I'm about to drag race my foot will be on the brake and gas and I'll rip the Tesla out of the hole and wave goodbye as I pull away. A 116-119 trap car isn't struggling with a car almost 10 mph slower.

It also isn't realistic to do less than a 1/4 mile specifically to favor the Tesla.

All that shows is that someone who gets a jump in an electric for a short race will have a lead for a bit. You really expect a Tesla to beat a Viper, M5, or E63? I don't.

I think the race is in favor of the Tesla, but I still think it's realistic.

Once again it's only realistic if the other car isn't trying to race and then rolls into the throttle. The situation is set to favor one powerband over another.
