Weird, they were supposed to be.

Well then, you can ask @Jimefam as he has been talking about making one for his car.

I had the piping finished and it ran fine with it. Took it off to have them weld some tabs to be abke to bolt in the piping for a solid fit but haven't gotten around to it. Truth be told I'm bored with the car and thinking about replacing it. I expected there to be a lot more stuff out for it at this point and development is practically nonexistent. I'm thinking either E63 or GTR as both have been proven to be easily tunable. Like the M5 a lot more than the E as far as looks but ultimately I need something to keep me engaged. Ive been spending all of my efforts now on my drag car.

I constantly need to be tinkering with the car. Ive had it over two years and I got a tune an exhaust only. I thought id have this $#@! at 800whp by now. Bored cause it feels slow already, hell there's more out for the M5 that came out a year later. A gtr or E63 will keep me modding for a while. Its not 100% yet cause I'm buying the wife a GL350 and I need a motorhome and stacker for the race car soon but if by the end of the year there isn't a lot more out I'll make a change.

    Dinan's released an intake, here's a picture

    And the product description:
The Dinan carbon fiber intake looks as good as it performs, allowing more outside air to be pushed into the engine via twin-ducts while also providing structural stiffness to the strut towers. Two new air inlets are added, each with its own high flow filter mounted into the mouth of the carbon fiber inlet. The stock air inlet is fully functional to provide four intakes into the engine for maximum airflow. The filtered air passes from the inlets into the black powder coated ducts then directly into the engine.

The Dinan Engineering team had a special challenge with the F10 550i. With very little room to work with under the hood the team came up with the ingenious idea of combining the shock tower brace and the inlet tube into one part. The results are beautiful and purposeful looking.

    Benefits:
+ More Power +10 HP & +8 lb-ft of Torque (with Software Upgrade)
+ Beautiful Dual Carbon Fiber Inlets
    + Integrated Strut Tower Brace
+ Stock System Stays Completely Functional

Probably a matter of time until some more come out, or at least a cheap replica

That's the problem with everything Dinan... Luckily it should be pretty easy to replicate from the pics

I have been studying realoem to see if retrofitting the S63 intake assembly would cross over to N63. Still inconclusive - If I see a scrapped M5/6 I may try this.

I'm surprised more people aren't trying to put S63 parts on the N63.
