    20 inch rims,opinion needed...

    Sup guys!

Came across this wheel but the guy said he only has sizes from 20 inch upwards left.I have a couple of questions.

Firstly what are your thoughts of a 20 inch wheel on a c63. Personally, the biggest I would go is 19's for various reasons one of which being this car is going to eat tyres for breakfast and 20's are pricey.

Secondly, what offset would I be able to get away with without any issues,be it 19 or 20 inch? This particular rim is a 8.5J et43 in front and 9.5J et45 in the rear.Would it work?

20's look oh so good but the fact is,they are heavy.Any thoughts/opinions are welcome Click here to enlarge

Looks really good, don't think you will have a problem fitting 20's

20's looks great on the C63 but 19's make more sense from a performance standpoint.

    Hello,

For performance wise, 19" are the way to go. Also if you decide to use 19's, you can run a wider wheels with higher offset.

    Thank you

Start phoning around for tires and see what your options are locally. I am battling to find in 20inch.
Also make sure if they are original wheels or replicas.

Yeah George I hear you, also struggling to find the branded tyres in 20's.Came across a cheaper brand called accelera.Checked out some reviews on the net and turns out they not bad, good grip in wet and dry.Price is very decent so Im contemplating a set.Anybody with experience with this particular brand?

Also I'm still on the fence about 20's.Would really prefer a 19" from a performance point of view but there's no good looking wheels available locally in 19 Click here to enlarge

I have a question guys? Just how much would a 20 inch wheel hamper performance on a 63?

20" is a little large for the C63, and there will be a noticeable decrease in performance. If you're looking for similar styling and in 19", then perhaps you can look into the Vertini Monaco's.

Send me a PM if you want more information on the Vertini's! Click here to enlarge
