Grand Theft Auto V getting close to release

I did a search and there was an old GTA thread that has been dead for a long time, so I figured I'd start a new one.





The official release date is Spring 2013. Anyone else looking for ward to it?

All previous GTAs have been ported to PC, so i assume this will also eventually. Unfortunately R* has confirmed that a PC version is currently not in development as of yet.

Meh, IV wasn't very good. I'm hoping V will be the next gen version of San Andreas.

Play it, there's some fun progression the game made from III to IV. But it's not like you'll be missing anything since the games really follow no chronological order & it's always a completely new story/characters

I don't mind waiting until later. I'd rather have a polished product than a buggy port. As you can tell, the GTA IV PC modding community is huge...so there is a good chance it is coming... these are IN GAME GRAPHICS

I hope its more like GTA3 and Vicecity, rather then SA and 4.

I liked the gameplay of SA the best but the story/setting of VC the best.

I really enjoyed GTA3 and Vice City, but could not get into SA. I didn't even bother with GTA4 as well.

Looking forward to this, especially when they come out with the ENB and what not, game will look amazing. In the meantime if you're looking for something like this I would check out saints row the third.

The saints row games have always been a little too ridiculous for me. They're not bad, just not my kinda game. I've been playing Far Cry 3 and I'm super impressed with that right now.

I know what you mean, it is a bit far fetched in most situations. Have FC3 myself, I was impressed on how it looked over all. Wasn't a huge fan of the rest of the game though. The map felt to narrow in some places, didn't like running to every tower either. Still a good game though, going to beat it one day.

I fear for my social life when GTA V comes out.

I've been doing another playthrough of San Andreas on my computer when I have time, such a fun game.
