    It's simple in concept, you melt metal together, usually with electricity and usually with adding additional filler metal to be melted in. The tricky part is that there are tons of details when it comes down to actually getting a strong and cosmetically pleasing weld, and the more time is spent doing material science research and preparation for the weld.

    Nope no flaws. High tensile strength. And if you know what you are doing the Weld should look pretty as $#@!. Also when you throw down a nice bead the slag should/will lift up on its own.
