    Did you weld professionally or just as a hobby?
    When welding overhead(stick) the sparks coming down on you should be minimal. If you are getting showered with huge globs of $#@! then you are doing it wrong.

    Professionally for about 10 yrs. Been around it pretty much all my life. Haven't welded a damn thing in a few years but it's huge part of my job.

    I remember seeing that and still, it is one of the most ridiculous intakes ever. So elaborate. Would have been cool and way more expensive to actually make use of those injection arms and the rails they mount on to transport the methanol, similar to what a lot of the F1 level engines usually do for fuel injection.
