    I can already tell that they are way too busy to fit my little project in by next week, so I'm picking them up today and dropping them off to be coated by someone in LA. They'll be done Monday afternoon and then I have someone here locally who will do the install. Haven't decided how the mid section is going to work yet - hoping Weistec has something like an X section that I can pick up today - if not I'll just have one made and then reduce pipe diameter where it meets the OEM pipes near the rear end.     And for those of you who are wondering what we're talking about....Jim took his Evosport headers off his CLK and they were just laying in a heap at Weistec. I asked him what he was going to do with them and to my surprise he GAVE them to me. That's right, GAVE them to me. So big props to Jim for not only being very generous, but also a stand up enthusiast. Thanks again buddy.
    Don't mention it, enjoy them, I was not using them and I am sure you will pu them to good use. They are good headers and make good power, I was running them on the CLK up until recently when Weistec discivered a different design that works better with FI, those evosport headers make some of the most power and they are high quality and should last. If Weistec isnt installing them who are you going to have tune the car? Those headers work great with an aggressive race gas tune, Maybe Steve can put a tune on your car at the event. I will talk to him about it.

    races are starting to get set up, money will be discussed.....let the sand bagging begin.

    FYI, the 800 hp figure for my C63 BS was a guess at the time of event entry, car was still being built, actual number will be between 750-800 crank dependent on pulley.

    Right on man - they are indeed great quality. They're being ceramic coated now, ECU is going to Weistec tomorrow for a high octane tune then it'll all get installed next week along with the new Weistec filters and oil separator. I figure I'll be right around 500 WHP when it's done. My buddy who is an MB master tech and I will be installing it all.

    Doubt there will be any time for that - I'm gonna be pressed for time to get this all done by the end of next week for the event plus I don't care much for dyno numbers. This will be the same n/a setup Jim ran before going FI and IIRC he was just over 500WHP.

    The ceramic coating will be awesome, I wanted to get them coated when I had them made and that was the plan but then Brad said they didnt need them, pretty sure they just ran outof time and were making excuses lol. Steve and Mike from Weistec will be at the event so if you do not have time to get itmtuned before event they should be able to throw a tune on it at the event I would assume. l
