Making a better cup of coffee

1 tabelspoon of coffee per cup of water into machine.

You can use 1 tabelspoon for everyone 2 cups if you wish it to be a little less strong.

Start with a good whole bean coffee, grind it minutes before you brew, let stand for 1-2 minutes after grinding.

I use 1/1 cup for medium roast, 1/2 cups for dark roast.

Looked in here while sipping my morning coffee expecting to unearth some secret on how to make my coffee better.

And I found the solution. Drink it while staring at hot chick with big boobs.

God how I love a big pair of tits.

I have a similar coffee maker from them. I hate it. Always making me rinse or empty something or other as it won't work until you do.

Its pretty easy imo, it rinses before it brews and after you shut it off to keep $#@! from getting clogged up. Tells you when to replace the water filter, empty the grinds, when to run it through its cleanse cycle, and when to refill the water. Best Coffee i've ever had, depending on if you use the correct beans of course.

Keurigs / other K-cup style coffee makers are $#@!, reason? Pre-ground coffee.

The jura however, I've used a Jura S9 before, It's not a barista level espresso but way better than what you'd get at starbucks; and at the push of a button.

Uses a burr grinder, high pressure pump, dedicated milk pump/heatblock etc. Nice device.

For the true tweakers a Silvia is known to be the one to get Click here to enlarge

For the best cup of coffee you use a chemex.

For a decent every day I use a french press and a Capresso burr grinder (worth it) http://www.casa.com/p/capresso-56001...grinder-229286 80$.

Of course great beans are of great importance. You don't have to spend a ton and there are 'coffee enthusiast' forums you can visit for hints Click here to enlarge

I wake up in the morning and want my coffee. With this coffee maker I have to wait for it to heat (fine), rinse, then it tell me to empty the grounds, then it goes through some self-check cycle, and by the time this is all done I'm asleep again.

From the personal experience I have had from the Starbucks and K cup machines, they never make it hot enough for me.

I use a basic drip coffee pot now. Grind my own coffee seems to have made the biggest difference in flavor.

Also bottled water affects taste too.

I feel like water quality is the biggest factor overlooked in coffee quality.

    http://www.amazon.com/Jura-13423-Imp...ywords=Jura+S9

    2,399$

For professional level barista espresso you want this:
The Silvia v3 from Rancillo. About 650$.
Then you want to mod it (of course)
    http://www.pidsilvia.com/

You'll also want a burr grinder that can dose into your portafilter:
    http://www.amazon.com/Rancilio-ROCKY...Grinder-Doser/ 350$.

Coffee is much cheaper, the 80$ capresso burr grinder and the chemex is 40$, a decent french press is around 40-80 depending on size. Glass of course never the plastic 'unbreakable' $#@!.

Other than being an interesting way to make coffee, no taste advantage over the chemex or french press...

Here's a fully built machine, including the a rocky burr grinder.

    http://shoppidsilvia.com/product/roc...m--thermometer

    1550$

That's what I'd rock 100%. The coffee machine the terminator would own.
