I drove a stock E92 M3 and was honestly blown away. The power is just there and the car gets up and moves quick. I don't know what it is to be honest, the car just feels much better built and much more solid than my N54.

I dont know. Every time I drive my car I feel like somethings going to break. After cracking my charge pipe on the freeway, left stranded after my fuel pump failed, my turbo's now blown and smoke coming out, etc

Sure these are issues that can be fixed, but still. N54 is a fantastic engine, I just think the S65 tops it

The car is better, hands down. for all the reasons you just stated. It could have been the most fearsome car of all if you had the N/A power close or equal to about what 5 psi does to it..

An m3 is a better package and overall better car. We are strictly talking motors... i think if u consistently do road racing or are on a curvy track... of course which 20% of m3 owners do, then its a great choise. The others being MD's w mustaches... u r buying a status car w almost zero merit especially for street driving.
    2007 335i (100% stock with mods)

    N54 is not a German 2JZ lol

Even if I had a big single or tt n54 I would still trade that for an s65 m3 stock!!!! Can't compare the s65 to the n54, no matter how modded it is IMO.
