I don't know about that, especially looking at video from the M3 & how badly the Vette pulled away. It seems like after the hit, the Vette shifts into the next gear & takes off

We'd have to see what he's putting down now and then what after. That doesn't even look like he's much above 400 whp...

Still waiting on Lost to spill the beans... He's been real quiet LOL. But I don't see wheels and a tune doin much to change the results.

Thats blasphemy the S65 is the greatest motor ever built. A model volumetric efficiency and superior design. Dropping a lightweight cam in block motor that makes more power wouldn't work.

Blasphemy! Since M3s have no trouble against C63s, they would absolutely annihilate anything less than a AMG. Click here to enlarge

Don't start with your CLK550 versus M3 nonsense again. Your track numbers don't support anything you say.

I see nothing but negative sh*& hating on BMW when I come to this site but it's interesting all the same. Since when did BMW ever focus on having the fastest car in a straight line? Especially these latest generations of BMW's. This outcome comes as no surprise to me at all. The M has less displacement and more weight, and it's up against a Z06 which is one hell of a car to beat.

Honestly it's mostly from narrow minded people. Some can't appreciate engineering or different approaches to motors and cars.

The N54 has bred a single dimensional enthusiast mindset based on superiority of a vehicle built around acceleration performance. Even attempting to point this out to the people who are stuck in this mindset is not processed by said people.

It's like trying to explain fine wine to a beer drinker. They just know one is cheap and gets them drunk.

If you are going to make a point do it logically. LS swaps work in everything.

You can swap an LS into a Porsche 911. So what?

Do you ever drive a car for enjoyment or is strictly side by side pulls? You live your life a quarter mile of a time?

Not that much weight considering the overall size difference. ,

We've gone over it already that BMW lists the weight with the driver. Not sure why it isn't clicking.

Here is the car actually weighed:
