E46 M3 OEM Placement FIA fuel cell

I inquired a producer of rubberized fuel baffles in Italy about a product they made several years ago for one M3 E46 track car.

Their fuel baffle has the same shape and sizes as the original fuel tank and will fit into the same location, making obsolete the trunk install. I can see some advantages over this.

FIA certified so the usual 5 years certification + 1 after factory testing.

I attach a transcript from the email I received:

"-Price of the fuel tank: 4.200,00
    Price includes:
-Bladder fuel tank with internal safety foam and internal pot
-Closure plate with pick-up, return and ventilation valve
-Fiberglass cover for support the tank.

    Commercial conditions:
-Delivery time: 7 weeks from order
    -Payment: before shipment
    -Transport: not included. "

For that price may as well get the biggest dildo on the shelf and shove it in there because thats what you're doing to yourself. Radium surge tanks are a way better option AND a good, easy place for your demand fuel pumps.

Would you pay over 5k for a fuel cell even if it was in the oem tank area? I mean this is for professional race teams...and even then they'd probably choke at that price.
