Use it for a month or two then ditch the whole thing all together?

The free license plate saying "VFF600" would be the deciding factor for me.

Again with this? I had it listed in the California section, I moved it to the national section in case East Coasters are interested. We already had a thread here where I came forward about selling it and the car. So no..there is no "trouble in paradise"...I sold the car because I was done with the car, not the kit.

Nobody is talking down on you, ok? Several Vishnu ST kits/cars have gone up for sale very quickly. It's somewhat suspect. People will ask questions.

I don't think there is much confidence in it right now. It is going to hurt your price.

Im I fan of the hardware. I think you'd have an easier time selling it if you listed the kit separate from the tune, meth and FMIC. I just hate Vishnu business practices. I'm sad FFTEC was willing to partner up with shiv as they make great hardware.

Well when the kit costs more than half the car, its really not that big of a stretch to link the two. You made a huge investment then sold it right after at a huge loss. It doesn't make any sense. I could see this not being such a factor if you went out and bought an M6 or a Z06 or something, but you went for a Taurus. From this end it looks like you had it with the 335i problems and want out. Of course your actual motivations may have been different. Just stating how it looks.

Fine..I just found it odd that you labeled it "trouble in paradise" if you were actually interested in it.

As for separating it, maybe that's the road I'll take if I can't get a buyer. I realize something of this cost is not going to result in buyers fighting over it left and right...I have to be patient.

I think you are just targeting too high of a price point tbh.

Im glad you're aware of that up front. You're going to take a bath on this kit for sure. I think there is a stigma with this kit especially from the airfield event that will turn most prospective buyers away at that cost. Many people would like to try it with a different tune and already have FBO cars. That will certainly help you Shen you separate the kit.

I went with an AWD Fusion because I wanted something more practicable and something that had good technology. I am absolutely loving the built-in touch screen and LCD instrument cluster. I had fun with the BMW, got to experience what it was like to have 600hp, and I just wanted to settle down and go with something simpler. And it wasn't an investment...it was money spent to have fun. I didn't expect to get a return on it.

Other than the 5th gear issue that high hp autos are seeing, I had 0 issues with my car. 0. I did not sell it to "get out". I just wanted something newer...and after test driving the Fusion, I really liked it - nothing wrong with that I don't think.

Nothing wrong with it. Its just completely illogical to drop 12Gs on a car worth MAYBE double that and then dump it two months later for a Fusion. I think 99% of the population would be totally perplexed by that.

Probably, but then again I never claimed to think like the rest of the population Click here to enlarge

Like I said, to me it wasn't an investment, it was to have fun. People spend thousands to go on a cruise or safari to experience something and enjoy it, they can't sell that to anyone. I know it's not really the same thing, this is actual hardware that I'm re-selling, but my point is I had fun and that's what counts, at least to me.

Im certainly not questioning your motive with the fusion. He'll I traded my 335i for a 9 year old Evo. My whole point was that I think you'll have a much easier time selling your hardware if you disassociate your kit with shiv and Vishnu.

It was labeled that way as a play on an article I made with a similar name about a Vishnu ST topic.

And creamiz selling his whole car. Plus wasn't there another? A $12k mod isn't something people typically jump into and then just sell 3 months later at a 60-70% loss lol.
