Given the current fueling issues.. 550whp w/o meth would be awesome.. obviously with meth and or additional fueling the ceiling is limitless

Right-on. Keep the price competitive and you'll make money hand over fist. So many n54s out there.

The ceiling should be limitless without meth. This platform has used it as a crutch for too long. With the upgraded LP and HP pumps, we should bbe free from those shackles.

I agree 100%.. although those upgrades will not be available in the next week so hp will be limited at first. Im just trying to compare this kit with what is currently available with the current fueling situation. I still think at this point if 550whp w/o meth is attainable this kit will be a home run. Down the road with additional fueling/larger turbo/more development these kits will more than likely own the market. And who knows since this is all specualtion at this point..

Nope, I'm a meth addict Click here to enlarge After this EVO project, I wish I would have ran meth instead of e85. I had 0 issues with my meth on my 335i, it was one of my favorite, most worry free mods. Now (only flash tunes) I need an e85 tune and a pump gas tune if I want to do any kind of traveling in the car. It's a PITA. I want to go to ATL to get the car dyno'd in a few weeks. That's a 5 hour drive. So, I have to run all of the e85 out, fill up with 93, switch to the pump gas tune, drive to ATL and do the same thing in reverse. Drive all of the 93 out, fill up with e85, switch maps, and drive around some to make sure the e85/tune is good before I dyno. Such a PITA. In the 335i, I ran map 3 all of the time. Always had meth in the car. Once i moved to a trunk mount kit, i never had a single problem with it.

    I miss meth [

I don't run meth, but I do have an E85-blend COBB tune & this is easily the most frustrating thing. After ProEFI announced here on BB that they were working on an N54 standalone, I was really excited when I found out that it can seamlessly run any combination of 93:E85 after the two maps have been made.

Still a PITA when I'm traveling to a city 5 hours from home, staying in a hotel, going to ATL just for the dyno. Meth is just alot easier.

This is so much fun watching all these projects mature. BTW is there not enough room to run the pipes off the exhaust ports straight out and up, to avoid the couple of feet of extra tubing? Like maybe upside down versions of the existing headers. Or like maybe two log-type manifolds and then two tubes into a collector to avoid all the extra down and up again.

I think tuners have found that a 60/40 blend of meth/water is optimal for cooling/fueling

At least that Is what I have been told.

yeah i've been running 50/50, worked pretty well. I most likely won't really run 100%, more like 70/30 or 80/20. Cooling isn't a huge issue in the winter when ambient temps are below freezing

Meth is prob the 2nd most popular mod on stock turbo cars. Just make sure you don't have any leaks & that the nozzle is spraying properly.
