Watch an Active Autowerke supercharged E46 325ci with an S54 swap demolish a stock DCT E92 M3

This is a very, very impressive showing by the Active Autowerke supercharged E46. The car is a 325ci but with an S54B32 swap out of an E46 M3 and then supercharged by Active Autowerke with their HKS blower based kit at 8 psi with water-meth injection. The E46 also has a 3.62 limited slip differential, Rogue Engineering exhaust, and JVT headers. The E92 M3 is a stock DCT car on 94 octane with RPI intake scoops.

It is somewhat shocking the 325 pulls the E92 M3 as hard as it does. This race basically being a supercharged E46 M3 versus stock E92 M3. The DCT M3 stock is a fairly quick car capable of trap speeds in the ~112 mile per hour range with 350 wheel horsepower stock so this E46 is flat out fast/powerful. Horsepower is likely in the mid 400 wheel range on the E46 car going to show how big of a difference 100 wheel hp is in practice. Great showing for the Active Autowerke S54 supercharger kit.

A level 1.5 is just a level 1 with our level 2 intercooler upgrade. They put down around 420 whp.

In addition to the horsepower, it really goes to show how much faster a car that is a few hundred pounds lighter can be. I was really hoping for a supercharged M54 destroying an E92 M3 though, but this an S54 is just as awesome

This all depends on who does the labor and how much you pay for the motor.

I guess what I was trying to figure out was the cost of the motor... I have no reference at all. Let's say a motor with between 80-100k kms on it......

You can just check Ebay for a reference point. $4k sounds about right these days.
