    Has this been confirmed to fit on a 2009 135i 6spd for sure with no issues? I just need to know 100% it will fit correctly before I purchase an set up an appointment to have it installed. Thanks

    Yes, all 135i/6MT's use the "large diff",which is what the current kit fits. Everything 335i/135i is interchangeable in regards to the subframe bushings and mounting locations.

    This thread is ballooning nicely. However, for those of you that have already done the install, we need some dragstrip feedback. Thats where wheel hope is 100% more likely to happen and the best testing tool for this kit. The regular street is not a valid benchmark tester.

    I am trying to source a bushing puller kit to do this. I found a $20 kit on amazon that includes these bushing removal sizes. Should this kit work? One of the reviews said they were too small for his use.

    Bushing Adapters
    No Small Large
    B-1 3/8" 7/16"
    B-2 7/16" 1/2"
    B-3 1/2" 9/16"
    B-4 9/16" 5/8"
    B-5 {39/64" 43/64"}
    {5/8" 11/16"}
    B-6 5/8" 3/4"
    B-7 11/16" 13/16"
    B-8 {47/64" 55/64"}
    {3/4" 7/8"}
    B-9 13/16" 15/16"
    B-10 {55/64" 63/64"}
    {7/8" 1"}
    B-11 15/16" 1-1/16"
    B-12 1" 1-1/8"
    B-13 1-1/16" 1-3/16"
    B-14 1-1/8" 1-1/4"
    B-15 1-3/16" 1-5/16"
    B-16 1-1/4" 1-3/8"

    TCW, that seems undersized especially for the rear bushing which is just under 3"...I have made my own puller set, but I realize that I have more equipment to do so than most. I'll try to make a list of the bits and pieces in my home brewed set...

    Hopefully someone west or south will get to the strip before too long,and depending on temp and tire used I mostly agree. Someone with decent ambient temps and hot R compound tires could arguably provide a decent enough load to the drivetrain on the street...

    Looks like this kit should work, although at $100 it's pretty expensive when something cheaper could be rigged. http://www.harborfreight.com/fwd-fro...ers-66829.html

    Well I think I will head to Home Depot tomorrow to source the stuff I need.

    Does this sound good?

    1/2" threaded rod
    3.5" diameter pipe
    2" diameter washer
    4" diamerter washer
    4 nuts

    I use a piece of 1/2"-20 or 7/16"-20 all-thread(use never-seize on threads) approx. 8"long. For the front bushings the pieces are:
    a section of 2 1/8" steel pipe,4" long
    a center drilled piece of 2" aluminum round stock(substitute anything similarly sized and rigid if need be)
    a 2 1/2" center drilled round stock as a tube cap(washers will fail under stress)...this piece is re-used to draw the rear out as well)
    As for the rear,
    A piece of 3" i.d. tube approx 3.5" long(if you look at the subframe,it's not totally flat and this tube needs a slight bevel to draw the bushing out straight)
    a 3" o.d. center-drilled aluminum cap
    the aforementioned 2.5" aluminum piece.
    The most important thing here is to take your time and make sure the bushing puller pieces stay aligned properly while pulling bushings out.if misalignment occurs,back off and re-align tooling before proceeding.
    Hope that helps.

    Does the round stock act as a thick washer or multiple washers stacked? Also for the aluminum cap (rear) shouldn't that be larger in diameter than the tube so that it can sit on top?

    Also couldn't the 3" pipe just have a o.d. of 3.25" or 3.5" to sit on the flat portion of the subframe, or is there not enough space?

    Was looking at autozone loan-a-tool program and found this: http://www.autozone.com/autozone/acc..._&target=shelf

    Set includes: C-frame press, 3 receiver tubes sizes: 2-3/4" x 3", 2-1/4" x 2-1/2" and 1-3/4" x 2", installation and removing adapters:

    http://atdtools.com/PDF/ATD8696.pdf

    Although at this point I think I may just get the Harbor Freight kit because it looks like it might get a bit expensive buying 3" pipe from Home Depot if I can even get it. Also I am not sure the Autozone tool will work, but thought I would give people the option.
