    Question Best turbo for over 1100whp ?

    For you what is the best turbo for make over 1100whp ?
    Which one is smaller in size outside ?
    Which one spool faster the earlier ?

    Your first (BorgWarner EFR 9180) is good for twin turbo application.

    I speak for a single application

    The Comp Turbo CT43-7879 good power range but not great feedbacks

    For the Garrett and Precision feedbacks are great and is popular turbo

    I have the pt7685 and while I havent completed my build ive seen a lot of people with good results with it. Should get you just over 1100whp but there wont be much left in it.

    Why do you need so much power,, it is no need in drifting ..etc etc,, but on the strip it could be useful,, BUT,, only if heavy modification are done on the rear to get decent grip

    Lol than the 7675 doesn't belong either. I agree with alpina unless your building a drag specific chassis to go with the motor 1100whp+ is not going to be needed.

    You think all car which is more than 1100whp+ is a drag car ? ... ok is not for track racing but look the Supra how much you can see whit over 1100whp+ ... a lot !
    For the rear of the e36 is sure must be strengthened
    And we can just tuned a car for passion no ?

    Please make up your mind ,first you want 800+Whp after that 1000Whp and now 1100Whp.
    What do you want?have you ever driven a 800+Whp car?

    You are driving with 605 flywheel horsepower now ,there is a lot of difference between 500+Whp and 1000+Whp believe me.

    If you really want 1100Whp buy a PT8285 and you are done,PPF Sweden has made 1200+ with this turbo.

    Maybe you think i'm stupid but I'm not
    I'm just undecided because I complete rebuild the engine, so I say why not find a good compromise between high power and very nice to drive

    1000 hp car at the wheels is actually by many not considered a nice regular car IMO to use daily.. in a E36 body

    Anything over 800 is pushing the boundaries of a DD, imo. Of course it depends upon the cams and smoothness of power. A very aggressively cammed Z06/Mustang/Camaro wouldnt be a good DD. A 800-1000whp HPF M3 , on the other hand, would be fine. Lots of variables, IMO. But this is coming from someone who finds 600whp crazy fast Click here to enlarge

    When I write nice to drive is not for a DD but when I well cruise the sunday is for this I the search a turbo whit the better spool for have "power" not only in high rpm.

    Mike you are not curious for the 50hp car ?
    50Hp is a Peugeot 106 kid from my mother
    1200hp is the Supra MKIV from a friend whit a GT55
