    GIAC Flashloader

Seems OE Tuning is not the only flash loading game in town for the N54 any longer:

Nothing new for GIAC. GIAC has been in the flashloader game for awhile.

This is identical to the one the Audi boys have been using for years.

Looks very good, I would love to see a demo of the OE product as well (unless I missed it).

looks great. Curious about Mr.5 and his 2+ though, and how much boost they are willing to go to, AND if they have any plans for upgraded twins

I don't think they have any plans for upgraded twins at this time... especially considering we have seen boost limitation issues with their tune.

I remember seeing Mr.5's stage 2+ dyno somewhere. I believe he got over 400whp.

    Edit: stage 2+ dyno 424whp 438wtq

The plan is to do a calibration on my car. Probably in october. Boost limitations? There are none with Giac.

That's right, you were saying something about that. So the 14.5 psi limitation is a thing of the past?

For Giac yes. Dont know about the other flash suppliers (think evolve also can go past it).
Again the main issue is that you need to rewrite a huge amount of tables because the stock file only goes up to 1 bar.

Looks cool. Been working a lot with CAN commands for our JB3 upgrade and came up with a really neat potential product for GIAC and other flash owners. Will post more once I have it working. Click here to enlarge

Well considering Stage 2 has been 'out' for months but hasn't been available to the public I wouldn't hold my breath for pricing or availability on this guy for a while. Hopefully the Evolve vs GIAC thing will push the timeline forward though. Give Mr.5 or Enrita a PM. Maybe they can give you better info

The flashloader should be about 150 Usd and the file (either stage 1 or 2) around 900 usd. Every extra map like valet/kill/race should be 50-100 usd each.
This is just a guess though.

    Not bad, competitive pricing.

Is this what you were talking about? Saw it posted somewhere else. Sounds cool.

It's a little box that plugs in the OBDII port and allows flash owners to display boost, timing, air/fuel, etc, on the dash as those can all be read accurately from the CAN bus with a flash tune. Then it will have a couple external inputs if they want to connect their meth system or a meth light trigger, external boost sensor, etc. Finally it will have a built in soft delete for cat and specific codes so no downpipes fix is required. A very awesome and unique little product.
