Nothing major. These manifolds were designed to flow. And they do that very well.

    @THATDONFC

As the radiator is going to have to move forwards, for clearance, does the SC kit come with the necessary hardware to complete this?

No, our kits do not come with any hardware to move the radiator. The best way is to fit the radiator yourself. There are so many different variations between aftermarket radiators and custom radiators that it would be difficult to make a kit. When you step up to a V7 YSi, it becomes a custom setup. There is no real kit in place.

Meh not yet buddy. I can buy them directly from Schric. The thing that annoys me cost and convenience wise is that they say we have to use their followers which cost more than the damn cams!

ah yes the installation kit, I've still got that in my car.
you should of brought my cams whilst you had the chance, would of made the final bill a whole lot more palatable.
hope you find a cheap set soon, if you haven't given up on that route.

    ...ok, will do.

    Hi Guys,
If I wanted to run the V7 Ysi to 30psi, what comp. ratio should I be looking at?
    Cheers.

You're never going to be able to run it to 30 psi on an S54.

Why is that? There is a video on youtube with a stage for hpf holding 32psi. Im guessing its using higher octane fuel plus meth tho.

This may have been answered and I missed it but why not go the turbo route? This sounds like a pricy build and for the money you could make more hp out of a turbo setup

Turbo and supercharger are two different things.

So it's the ysi that is the problem?
What boost could you see from the ysi?

The YSI isn't a problem at all it's an amazing blower it just won't make that much boost on the S54.

I'm not really sure what the max is with an S54 but it's less than 32 psi. You can also overspin the blower.

OK, so with 95 pump gas here, what is the comp. ratio we should be aiming for, spinning the Ysi to max?
