True and at this power level wouldn't keeping the stock coils be preferred?

For my curiosity I have sent Okada an e-mail enquiring on how much mJ they produce.
I also can't really ignore peoples experience with them. Shame there's no back to back tests results.
I'll probably stick to stock and save some cash.

On another note, been looking into liquid to air intercooler. I've read in a couple of places that they can suffer from heat soak and be less efficient than air to air. Anyone have any experience?

We use air to liquid on all of our supercharged applications and we have not experienced any alarming temperatures. All within normal operating range while at idle and below while driving. (Normal for a supercharged car.)

Here's a link to our aftercooler. This manifold was designed for our supercharger kit so it may not work with your current bracket setup.

@ THATDONFC, that's a lovely kit. To be honest I was begining to think that I should just see if I could get away with my current air to air. Going to have to do some thinking now. Also got to keep an eye on the money as the car is going in to BMW next week for some body mods.

This is my build/wish list so far...
    Saad stage 1 fuel system
    ProEFI stand alone 128
    Pro EFI Harness
    Pro EFI Transmission Control Module
    Pro EFI Can Display
    ARP L19 Main studs
    ARP L19 Head studs
    Arrow Rods
    CP Pistons 10.1:1
    V-1 T Charger
    Maxflow Racing bypass valve

Any thoughts from anyone on the above would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers.

Any specific reason why you decided to go with a stand alone rather than the factory ECU?

V3 will put out about 15psi before you're spinning it pas it's "max" rpm.

I'm running the ESS Tuning VT2-550 kit with smaller pulley pushing 12psi and it runs like a champ.

Hi Chris, so I'll be able to get my vehicle set up correctly with the above mods and to be able to take advantage of its other specs.
It will also mean I can get rid of my Stack AFR and Boost guages, sort out my traction control as I have a CSL steering rack and have not changed the module, control Meth, etc. I have got the older ECU with the smaller memory.

Hi Tonester, I sure your car is running sweet but I think it's just me whereby I'm never quite satisfied. Before I started posting here I had cancelled my upgrade parts for the 550 kit, as I too was going to run at 12psi. Hopefully the above plan/parts will be the last on power mods as too much money, in my eyes, has been spent on this car.

    Hi Chris, yeah sure.
Really happy today because BMW picked up my car for the body mods. Should be back with me in a month.
I've already chatted with my Tuner and he assures me work will start first half of March.
So fingers crossed everything goes to plan.

Got another rear bumper to go on, with pulled arches, Varis diffuser, vented, and Varis 2 part underfloor.
Will post more pics as the car develops.

Well as usual, nothing ever goes to plan. Mid March has passed, my car is still at BMW and now my tuner tells me he's busy until September, great.
Anyway here are some pics. Sorry about the crap pics.
After sourcing a second hand CF bumper carrier, Varis bumper could be mounted. Now need a later washer bottle.

Got these enamel badges for the front, rear and steering wheel. Recess in bonnet has to be reduced to 70mm as this is the largest size they do, unless I wanted to put an order in for 100 pieces.

    @ Twinturbom3
I do accept what you and the other guys have stated, I just really wanted to know if the car would drive any better.

    @ Antres
Thanks! Sorry I'm in no position to give advice as I'm on a learning curve myself. There are many knowledgeable people on here that can advise you. Maybe start a thread in what you want? With regards to modding, if you haven't, I would suggest sorting out the brakes and handling first. Good luck on your mission!

Quick question about air/water plenums, for example VF Engineering or RMS item.
At full boost, is there a pressure difference before the core cooler compared to after the core cooler?
Also these designs, are they good enough for 1000hp or will this be exceeding their design?

    @UK M3
We have never measured any significant pressure drop in our manifold. Between .1 and .5 psi.

Our manifold was designed to be good for 1000hp although we haven't tested it at this output.

What psi were you running to get results of 0.1 - 0.5?
