That guy fighting that MMA fighter on concrete has balls. At least the other guys are smart enough to fight on dirt. There is definitly some sloppy fighting in some of those videos, a professional without gloves is a lethal weapon.

An oldie, but I just love what the guy does when looking into the camera after the fight (if you could call it that), like: "Ah well...."

But anyways, yes I was in a fight many years ago in college. A buddy and I were driving around in his old Chrysler 300 convertible, and we had this gigantic stuffed panda bear in the back seat ('cuz that thing was like a magnet for girls); we put sunglasses and a red Hawaiian shirt on him. Anyways, we stopped off to get a slice of pizza and while we were waiting we looked out the window and saw that several people were trying to steal the bear.

We jump out and by now they have the bear and are trying to stuff it into their own car...my buddy takes the first swing at the first person he sees with the bear and meanwhile I reach into the driver's side window and grab the driver and start to pull him out of the window (useless effort). By now it's chaos and I hear someone saying "STOP, STOP!" (I didn't know who it was) behind my back, so I let go of the driver and took a few steps back. Now the driver immediately opens his door while yelling he's going to $#@! me up, so when he's about halfway out I charge as hard as I can back into the door, which slams into him and I guess it hits him pretty hard in the head, because later on I saw that he was bleeding pretty bad from around his face. As he falls out I remember kicking him, I think it was one time...

Meanwhile my friend was busy kicking the $#@! out of whoever he was fighting with, and I look and see the bear on the ground so I go get it... I started to look around and all of the other people associated with the "bear stealing gang" are backing off. I look at the driver, and don't ask me why, but I then asked him if he was OK, to which he responded with "I'm bleeding..." And this is the honest truth - I felt really bad.

Well, I didn't know what to say at that point, and my friend had stopped his beat down, so we left, still hungry and all, but the adrenaline running pretty high. We must have looked like a couple of chooch's, standing there all victorious holding a giant stuffed bear but you can't make this stuff up.

Looking back, I still think "How stupid" but there ya go...

First of all, not stupid, I think this was a righteous battle. You didn't let some low lifes steal your badass Panda. There are worse things to fight over than giant stuffed animals.

    Pure awesomeness!

My 11 year old son is just beginning to encounter bullies at his middle school...my wife, a former teacher, always tells him to contact an adult. I, on the other hand, am struggling with teaching him at least some basics on how to defend himself, which always results in horror from said wife.

Anyone here have boys...are you teaching them to stand up for themself or to "follow the rules"? My point is, if my son ever retaliates against a bully with a body blow, he ain't going to be in trouble with me...but if he ever instigates, then we'll be having a conversation.

I went to full contact karate at that age. That helped a lot. Click here to enlarge
