If you can leave black marks on a straight from the time you exit a corner till the time you brake for the next turn....... Then, you have enough horsepower.

It was because nobody could come up with a solution for the dual banks. The preturbo o2 sensors are what fixed it, but nobody had really tried that. HPF didn't fail, they just didn't meet any type of timeline before they went belly up.

that seems like a pretty basic and logical solution though?.. well, except for the fact that pre turbo O2's have a ridiculously shortened life (guess that's the tradeoff lol)

HPF did fail, they made a kit to start with .. 2-3 years ago? and stumbled at being able to get it actually tuned+running (allegedly lost all their good engineers etc.)

Yes, it's the most obvious solution and what I planned to do over 2 years ago when I first learned from CP-e that they wouldn't work in the DP (they were involved with Unfor / Scrotiemcboogerballs' failed project). However, I chickened out because the accuracy of wide band O2 sensors is easily skewed by back pressure. Once I saw that Vishnu / FFTEC were successful with the idea I went for it. I'm guessing other builders were also hesitant to trust the idea.

Damn that's a badass manifold from FFTec. I hope they haven't hitched thier wagon to Vishnu on this one too. I could see this being VERY popular if it can be tuned properly, especially with real opensource flash tuning now. $#@! is about to get real interesting. I miss my bimmer SO bad Click here to enlarge

I like FFTEC's manifolds but for my needs I'd love a simple log manifold w/ large internal wastegate turbo. Something to support 600whp @ 5000rpm would be just fine. Then we just need to find a way to merge the o2 banks and we're in business with simple large turbo kits. Click here to enlarge

Terry if you are interested in building something like that, we can discuss and make if happen for you. Let me know.
