It is, but with the turbo blanket and heat shield, I haven't seen any signs of melting yet.

Looks like he put a pretty nice heat shield behind it. That should do the trick as far as keeping the heat off the plastic.

Fuel system is stock for now. The next upgrade will of course be upgrading the LPFP. The only reason I haven't done it yet is I haven't decided on replacing the stock pump or adding an inline. I am running 93 and meth and plan on tuning for as much boost as possible, up to about 550 WHP. This turbo maxes out around 600 WHP and the 6AT well before that, so I think 550 is a reasonable short-term goal.

Yeah, but you can make a lot of HP on 500Tq on an automatic with a single turbo Im finding that out fast lol

Love your setup, great stuff man! I like the windshield washer neck relocation too. How does it route underneath?

Looks awesome! What's the little black thing with a hose connected to it to the left of the turbo?

I bought some 1 1/8" bilge hose from the hardware store (looks EXACTLY like the stock tube) and spliced it together. The filler neck cap / funnel assy. pops right off of the stock hose and fits perfectly into the new bilge hose section. (you can kind of see how stock it looks in the picture). I routed it trough the wheel well like stock and then under the the car just in front of the subframe. Unlike the stock setup, it's no where near any hot exhaust parts.

you should have your setup fabricated and blow the other ST competitor out of the water by a few $1,000's and just offer the hardware.

i mean you did do all the hard stuff now its all about the JIG Click here to enlarge

A big selling point i feel would be opening the hood and having that turbo right on top. jaw dropping Click here to enlarge

    damn that looks good

even with the intake piped all the way around

i really like that 335D res swap too, doing all the hard work for future top mount kits Click here to enlarge

question: what mods exactly had to be done to the charge pipe to get it to fit in?

I had to pie slice a section out right before the throttle body to tighten the angle, then weld a bend in the middle of the CP to get the positioning just right. Basically, I had to get the CP positioned right next to the alternator to make room for the 335d tank and the PS reservoir.

Yep, the 335d also has a different PS reservoir bracket to allow the tank to fit.
