when I spoke to Harlod at length and told him what I was looking for he just started to toss out numbers. why I didn't trust him fully, his numbers for front and rear didn't correspond to anywhere near the proper rates relative to an e9x. my impression was he knew the correct rates to start at but once you start to play with them it seemed as if he was guessing rather then pulling up a calc.

Second, if you haven't notice, we are a pretty tight group of friends that despite meating on the internet (gay dating websites FTMFW), we know each other pretty well and probably like you, will blindly back our friends before someone we havent met. You are still new and havent crossed the tipping point that allows you to call BTM a cross dressing whore that cant get a sane girl to $#@! him with immunity. Dont get me wrong, we love new fish and really like to meat them in person, as newbies are always the cracker their first time. I am just recommending walking softly until we get a crack at your ass.

I most certainly can call Brian lots of things. I've known him for years... (although we've never met in person). All I did was reply to an insulting post back with an insult. If that's a crime ban me. Otherwise I like you guys, even BS. Actually I meat BS a while back. He was cool in person, we got along. He's a bit of a poopy pants online though. Click here to enlarge

    okay, newb questions.

Chargepipe, i think the post 2009s are pretty strong right? Should I just throw a used OEm one in the trucnk incase it blows so I dont get stranded or simply duct tape the one I have to if it does pop, I can get enough function out of it to limp home?

Lock down kit, what else to install. I mean, I saw bushings and other $#@!, but will I get noticable benifit from it? $600 for something I am not sure I need?

I personally would do the charge pipe since you are going rbs. If you were just full bolt on I would say wait until it pops. and lock down kit should be good. You said you will not track it so no need for the extra stuff for the street. I would just say some sticker tires after lock down kit if anything and see how it feels. I would rather do coilovers over the m3 bits but that's just me. Coilovers have kept me from fishtailing as much.

I am not going to max out psi down low, so should keep it at 19psi and lower.
