Well the RB's are just made by him in his garage. I mean with all those orders to fill how are you even going to get good customer service? Secondly, Vargas is a bigger company offering more competitive pricing. And will have more options namely the Stage III.

    It's no contest IMO.

Not in this for stage 3... RB is local, I can meet him in person an purchase, I can insure they do not get damaged once received. They have been out for years. Vargas just started up, untested product

Um check out their past diesel work. They do far more complex as well as industrial stuff. Compare to a dude in his garage...

Up to you, the RB's are hardly perfect.

Why do you say he's a dude in his garage. As i understood it, the smoking issues were install related. From vargas's description it looked like his work was in a random garage.

Because he is a dude in his garage. No storefront. Were they install related? Maybe... maybe not. Lot's of reading in the N54 forum.

you've never been to Eurocharged Chicago then. It's Jake's driveway. Just cuz someone doesn't pay rent in a commercial space doesn't make their product any lesser of quality. Proof is in the pudding, not the package.

but I regress as I know nothing of the situation, let alone much in general. I am but a lowly e46 NA engine bottom feeder so I'll go crawl back into my whole with the rest of the vermin.

I cant find anything that supports vargas doing anything other than their webpage. And there are a ton more info on RBs floating around the internet than vargas.

    And agreed seth.

My point being if he has a lot of orders and is working out of his garage which he is how will he offer up great customer service or timely delivery?

If someone is a larger turbo builder with inventory, employees, etc., how much confidence would you have in them?

And software flashes and hardware are not apples to apples.

RB's had a head start, of course there are more. But RB just does one thing, Vargas does a multitude.

I have only ever seen very positive reviews about robs customer service. That doesnt stress me. I havent seen any proof that tony is more than one dude, proof that his product produces results, proof that he will do anything to support his product, proof that he hasnt taken everyone's deposits and walked away posting teasers while he laughs and spends folks money.

Then again, maybe he's got great customer service until its a chick and he allegedly smackers her around
