Hard to do, might almost be as expensive as a new lip. My iCarbon one on my e82 he told me about $450 and you'd always see it was repaired. Not worth it - could have a new one for $600

in that boot camp, is there a logical progression or is it as completely random as others I've been told about. The randomness scares me....like an injury waiting to happen.

What do you mean by randomness? Like switching up the exercises in such a fashion as it doesn’t allow you time to build muscles and joints to handle the tough moves?

Everything is at your own pace with some encouragement. Its pretty much a personal training session with 8-12 other folks to motivate you.

Honestly, its tough but these indoor sessions aren’t that bad. The outdoor ones in the summer, if you do everything as instructed are much harder than the spartan or mudder. If I had to choose between the 12 mile mudder in 2 hours vs. 2 hours of their full workout on the hill, it would be a toss up.

Outside of core strength (if you are weak here, this class will change that quickly), it’s not about strength training. Its primarily designed to improve your body’s ability to deal with lactic acid, to draw sugar from your reserves over long periods (ie, go for hours without feeling like you are going to puke or pass out) and to move a lot of oxygen to your muscles (my resting heart rate went from the mid to low 60s just lifting, running, and playing soccer to mid to low 40s after this camp and applying its principals to my normal workout).

I mean more like, and I know bench press is necessarily applicable here but it provides a reasonable example, but you start one session at x reps at x weight with a goal of x+y reps plus x+y weight in a certain period of time. You set a progression throughout that timeline.

Or is it more like he lets do box jumps in the rotation today. Do it either x times for x sets in the rotation or do it for x time amount of time in the rotation. Then hell, we'll do box jumps again maybe sometime in the future...and then without respect to your skill level or form, we'll just throw it back in there. That's what I've seen from boot camps. They are great for beginners because you can come and go and do what works for you and most usually quit after a period of time.

By comparison, my trainer sets me up for a two day a week routine to fit on top of runs and weight training. Day one is different than day 2. Each day consists of 5-8 movements. I repeat the weeks for a 4-8 week term and each week builds upon the other.

There is no tracking of reps. Its usually a rotation of 8-15 stations, with 60 seconds on/30 seconds off, or 60 seconds on/10 seconds off, or 90 seconds on/30 seconds off, or 20 mins on/3 mins off with running between stations up a hill.

Its not about counting your reps and trying to push your number, its about giving it your all as long as you can. Doing anything for 60 or 90 seconds straight is hard as hell (and as soon as they see its easy for you, they add an element for you, like today, one was 24 inch step ups, which are easy for me, so I had to do one legged jump ups). I dont care if I did 20 last week and to go for 21 one this week cause I wont see that exercise for probably another month and I am to exhaust to even count and remember what I did on each set.

The whole counting sets is why I got tired of p90. I went back to it after starting this and got bored with it quickly. First, cause the whole limited workouts they provide and the fact I get sick and tired of trying for one more rep and then sitting unmotived until the next exersice.
