M4 wishlist: which features do you want?

The next-gen M3 / M4 is just around the corner. Still we don't know much about the technical features which will set it apart from the ordinary 3 and 4-series cars.

So which feature would you want ///M to implement in the car to make it special, more efficient, faster, more enjoyable? 7 gear manual transmission, all-wheel steering, fully active suspension, holographic I-drive navigation, you name it Click here to enlarge

I simply wish BMW will keep the car weight reasonably low, below the magical 3300lbs mark. Maybe not a real feature per se, but something that would make the driving experience so much more enjoyable.

    What's your take?
    E92 335i SB / Black Leather / 6AT / Navi Prof / Sunroof / Active Steering
Mods: Performance Seats / Performance Exhaust / RB Turbos / M3 CF Roof / Brembo GT BBK 355/345 / Rollcage / M3 Mirrors / Forge FMIC / QUAIFE LSD / Ohlins R&T / M3 Suspension Parts / Vorshlag Camberplates / Megan Toe Links / LeatherZ Gauges / Extended M3 DCT Paddles / ER Sports OC / AR OC / Aux Radiator / AR catted DP / COBB Pro-Tune
    Next: GTS Wing

    Should look like this:

with a modern version of this which made 430bhp back in 70's, i would be happy with the same output:

and of course this (power steering reservoir):

I just love gated shifter with a long knob:

    and these rims:

But for real, i want E46-like weight. 3.2L displacement. 8000rpm redline. Real M headwork. If it has electric steering, a 991-like steering feedback.

@Sorena : Me thinks a M1 with modern styling would rock your boat Click here to enlarge
@Sticky : Sounds yummy but is unlikely to happen with tree-hugging government regulations.

It isn't emissions regulations that are stopping it. If GM can make a 7.0 lite rand 6.2 liter V8 work BMW can make a 4.4 liter V8 work.

My feature request: a decently impressive engine bay, that is somewhat easy to work on. But I don't think there's much chance of that:
