    Stage 3 update

Ok guys, so both Stage 3 manifolds are fully welded and mounted in the car. I am currently doing a rough plumb of all the oil and water lines, then I will move on to DP's then charge piping. I should have the lines at least rough plumbed tomorrow with some SS, some hard lines and some rubber. When all is said and done everything will be SS or hard line. We were able to keep the stock drain on the rear turbo with just a spacer which is great. The more we can retain the better. Everything seems to be fitting great, there is still a lot of work to be done but we jumped through some of the bigger hoops. Keep in mind this is a prototype kit, and these are early pics including the manifolds. (I am only posting 2 for now) The final kit will look much different in both fit and finish. I hope everyone has a good weekend, things are coming together quickly.

Now that's awesome. I'd be willing to bet you might be able to use existing catless downpipes for stock turbo's on it with a little bit of modification.

I am no expert, this is all new to me, but my question is about the manifolds. Seems like the exhaust from the manifold cylindars would crash at the T just before hitting the turbos. So what I am seeing here is instead of a smooth flow I am seeing alot of turbulence adding more back pressure ?
    It this intentional ?

If you see inside the collector they all merge smoothly. Back pressure on any turbo application is your enemy.

So the rear turbo (bank 2) will be fed by the behind-the-engine pancake-pipe?

Of course not. This is a customers car who were putting a set of stage 1's on after we use it as our build car. I loosened the stock pipes and pulled them out of the way. But removing them completely is a PITA since they have to go back in anyways. But for installation of the kit, the stock pipes will need to be removed. If the kit was staying on this car I would have just cut the rear one out and pulled the front.

Just about the only time effective way t0o build a kit is with a engine on the stand and a car on the rack. You can do it with just a car but its more time consuming. We have had this car here since around the same time I announced any of our N54 upgrades.
