You don't get it. What they are trying to tell you is they are not responsible for you going outside the parameters and causing damage whether it be messing with your software (Cobb isn't going to replace your motor if you F it up with their software) or due to driver error. Not sure what you are having trouble understanding.

And AA along with basically every other tuner for BMW's doesn't offer a Dinan style warranty. If interests you, go with Dinan then.

There was a guy with an E90 M3, who purchased an ESS supercharger, and had it tuned and installed. On his drive home, the motor blew. Clearly it was the software, and ESS stepped up to the plate.
If it's clearly their fault they should fix it. Each circumstance is different. Once again a tuner shouldn't cover you for YOUR mistakes.

that is completely untrue..I have friends that are techs at BMW and I know for a fact that isnt true. As a matter of fact, BMW and Dinan dont have the same relationship many people think. I know of a guy whi had an M5, completly Dinan'd out..motor blew, and BMW or Dinan didnt cover it

Exactly..I remember back when In had my 335i..I would see tons of people throwing a tune, dci(maybe and sometimes not even that), and meth and boost to almost 20psi, and they they wondered why their car got $#@!ed up and try to blame the tunes..its complete non sense. I know everyone wants to have the fastest this and that, but modding is a process, and there is a reason why some mods are called "supporting mods"..some people just done get that...they just want to throw a meth and tune, boost the crap out of the car, and be like "OMG, my engine blew..must be the crappy tune!!!" lol

Oh no, don't interject some reality into the discussion.

And yes, correct, BMW and Dinan's relationship changed.
