Just replaced all Vacuum lines with quality scilicone tubes.

Mr.5 did it at my mileage due to a code he threw. Mine where dry and brittle, and some cracked in your hands real easily. The oem stuff is garbage, and is real leaky. Very noticeable improvement in the responsiveness, and performance. Mr.5 had diagrams of all the tubes, posted on his thread. You will need 11ft.

You're more then welcome for the positive rep for a quality post. I remember when I tried to install my Forge DVs myself that the OEM sized vacuum lines REFUSED to fit the nipple, drove me ape $#@! crazy.

Okay cool. My car is nearly 6 years old now, should i replace these lines? Seems like they would be time-sensitive as well (due to rotting).

I think the key is to remove only one vacuum line at a time, that way it is obvious where the replacement line connects.

Just pull one off, put the new one on. Make sure you have a sharp blade so you can a) cut the end of old lines so you don't break the nipples and b) so you can cut the new line down to size with a nice clean cut

Would this be time sensitive or mileage sensitive? Or both?

I imagine time more so than mileage, but it would depend on the operating environment as well (i.e. do you live in a dry, wet, hot, cold climate?).

I would think both, i replaced mine at 30k just because the car is getting up there in age. Age will cause the rubber components to dry out, but heat cycling (aka Mileage) will also cause accelerated wear.

Heat is the #1 reason, especially on the hot side. The ones going to the turbos down below see temps of 360+ degrees, as measured by Mr.5. These replacements are good up to 450 degrees.

I took pics, and will post them shortly
