    100,700 miles.

Not trouble free at all, but tranny, engine, and turbos have been on point. regular fluid changes ftw.

90k miles, tuned the entire time (procede). No issues, no misfires nothing... other than getting injectors and HPFP replaced under the recall (never actually had any HPFP issues - they just replaced it cause i was in).

45k on my 08, some form of tune the entire time, fbo the last 15k miles. Went through 3 hpfp (first at 1,200 miles, one under recall and one around 30kish), but as my dealership is 1 mile from work, poping in to grab a loaner for the day doesnt bother me.

I have 62k miles, about 20k miles of them were tuned. Second owner, picked it up with 15k. All maintenance done on time, etc...

    I've had to replace:
    Turbos
    Fuel Pump (x2)
    Valve Cover
    Oil Filter Housing Gasket
    Coils (x2)
Way too many quarts of oil to count

Mine hasn't had any problems with the water pump YET, but expect that to $#@! out as well.

Got my 135i April of 2011 with about 46k and within a few days of ownership, I had to take the car in for a vanos solenoid replacement and a headlight failure. Within a month, I added a JB4, downpipes, and a fmic and ran the tune for the rest of 2011 with no issues.

At the start of 2012, I switched to Cobb and I've been running this tune since then with no issues either despite the increased boost from my previous tune. All that I've done is basic maintenance and the car runs pretty strong for what it has. I currently have about 60k so I've only had my N54 for about 14k with relatively no issues.

I bought a lemon law buy back at 28k. I am at 72k now. Only serious problem was the oil pump going out. The rest was minor sensors, adjust wastegate, and tune related stuff. Been running 50%+ E85 for over 30,000 miles now. This car is not trouble free in the least, but to be fair I am getting 430whp out of it with very little work.

Oil pump! That's one that I've been dreading, but I have no issues so far. How hard was it to replace? How many hours labor were you looking at?

But as soon as it's running like it should, all the troubles are forgiven Click here to enlarge Damn!

I'm at 55k miles. On my 3rd HPFP, 2x tranny gasket leaking, replaced battery, power steering pump failed, turbos replaced at 25k due to wastegate rattle and now turbos are toast again.

I have been tuned for about 15k miles (now at 57k) and the only issue I have had is three blown coil packs and I had to replace the LPFP sensor. Otherwise, the car has been rock solid.

Yep! definitely not reliable. I was seriously spoiled by Honda. All you needed to do with those cars, was change the oil, and your good till 100K miles! But you are right, I've changed a lot of stuff in my car, then got used to just changing stuff as a preventative measure. She has driven me bonkers, but when I hit the track, all is forgiven as you said.

So how much of the problems listed above do you guys feel is due to any mods from stock? I relize this is only a guess , but this forum is for discussion .

Just about to break the 100,000 mark, no real issue's along the way, been tuned for 75,000 from JB3, JB4, to JB4-G5, Meth, Downpipes and a custom Magnaflow (MR.5) exhaust. Had some serious wastegate rattle so I adjusted both turbos. Now I'm getting some wicked clutch slip and need to replace my suspension. NY/NJ city driving is not kind to these cars.

Still love driving her and can't wait to add some upgraded turbo's in the future.

Non of my issues have been mod related at all. It's just a very maintenance intensive vehicle.
