Well I have been through 3 Macbook pro's (all from dropping them) and 3 Iphones and they have all been replaced, free of charge while i waited (15-20 minutes).

The customer service just has been really easy, in my experience.

When I break something it's an excuse to upgrade.

    It's just a phone.

I just like new stuff which is why these 2 year service contracts preventing upgrades piss me off.

Not a big deal to me, I'm just sick of my Blackberry Tour & looking for something new. 16gb is probably plenty for me & I really liked that the Nexus will be constantly updated with the newest Android software. Just getting a bit hesitant with all the negative reviews about it right now -- Like no LTE service with the Nexus on VZW Click here to enlarge

I always wondered, what do you people do on your phones that requires speeds that are faster than say 42Mbps?? Which is what the Nexus 4 can do on the T-Mobile network. Not sure about AT&T.

Even LTE can't do 42mbps consistently in the real world. that 42mbit HSPA+ number is a theoretical maximum, like 326mbit is a theoretical max for LTE.

Awesome phone, good pick. The nexus 4 has LTE functionality, the developers over at the xdadevelopers website have already found out how to enable the Tmobile AWS LTE band, working on more. If the Note II had the 1080p screen from the HTC Droid DNA (only verizon CDMA) then it would be an end-all phone for at least another year.
Check out xda developers if you want to get into some custom ROM flashing and mods for your note ii, jellybean with AOKP or CM10 mods $#@!s on iOS.

I have the S3. Its fast as $#@! on LTE, to the point I don't even use wireless sometimes. Plain 4G is slow to me lol.

Any problem I've had with my phone I go right to google and search it. Chances are there is an answer for it already....And there are very few issues I've had with this phone (Facebook app crashing, etc)

I got the S3 when it came out, had two iphones prior. Done with Apple for now, not until they actually come out with a legitimate updated phone (pages of squares isn't cutting it anymore).

Now I want the Note 2. So how much is one off contract so I can switch over phones and sell the S3.

I see new Galaxy Note 2's (depending on carrier) in the $550-600 range on craigslist. Sprint phones being the lower priced ones.

A lot of people use their (Android) phone as a wireless access point for their laptop, so they don't need a contract with an ISP.
And when you start using Torrents via your phone, bandwith and unlimited data comes in handy.

Sticky, newer versions of Android have the locator software build in.
Not sure what the menu titles are called in English, but a translated guess is Settings - Location and security - set mobile tracking.

Brave dicision to switch from iOS to Android. Props to you.
Really nice phone. A little on the big side, but then again more smartphones nowadays tent to have bigger screens.
The Note II is almost a very small tablet.

Yes it is but this is a blessing IMO. Watching movies on it is way better than the Iphone. Browsing is way better. Screenshots, editing, etc. This is a much better back up for my computer than the Iphone ever was.

I was messing around with it yesterday and realized, wow, don't even need my Ipad for any of the things I'm doing and the Phone actually seems faster...

I guess that's one of the things you can do it with. But I can't see that being a viable option anymore with all the carriers throttling those unlimited data plans once usually after the 5gb is downloaded. And it's not usually a tech savvy user that will say: "I need LTE or nothing else" those dudes can find a way around it. It's the regular guy who knows nothing about tethering that will say something like that. I want to know what that person is doing with their phone.

Anywho, my Nexus 4 is on the truck for delivery!!!! Whoooo!!!!

Unless you have the Newest iPad4 this phone is faster in every action compared to your iPad

If something is hyped as the next best thing, there are always people who need to have the very latest and best, just because it is the best.
Even if they have to pay $80,- or more a month to get it on their phone...

Cerberus is an anti-theft app I installed on my Nexus 7. Allows you remote access through the web. It's not free, but I did get a $25 Google Play credit when I purchased my Nexus.

Yeah, I was sold the second I held one in the stores. I kept hearing some people saying it is too big (they probably have little man hand syndrome). It is actually perfect size, the size makes it feel more secure and comfortable to hold. And yes that extra screen size makes a huge difference surfing the web or watching videos.

I just need to find one off contract with a clean ESN.
