Click here to enlarge Thank you both for the kind words! So the red TE37s are a little too much for my taste so I think I am going to go for a nice dark bronze powdercoat. I think it will go nicer with the grey exterior and yellow calipers.

I'm expecting quite a nice package on Friday from Andrew! If I can't be patient and wait until Monday I'll probably try installing the upgrade kit myself over the weekend. I replaced my own kidney grills, hood vents and side gills so I think I can handle this.

I kid I kid. I did my own reflectors too! Click here to enlarge

They look particularly bad with the yellow calipers :/ ketchup and mustard lol. I'm rocking oem 19s at the moment which look great! ...but I need 18s

How much worse will the 19s be performance wise compared to the 18s? I know both are improvements over my 20" ADVs at least lol

The OEM 19's look awesome! What are the weight differences? The volks will be better but i doubt the OEM wheels are that much heavier than the volks and you probably won't notice much of a difference.

I think silver volks would look awesome but I like silver wheels so maybe I'm bias

Those red volks look killer. Reminds me of Martin D's iND build.

A lot of red love in here! I think the volk red isn't deep enough and looks like a crayon if that makes sense. The type of red that looks beautiful IMO is http://ind-distribution.com/blog/?p=2186
that bronze too is gorgeous! The exact bronze that I am going for! Now before I make an irreversible decision, any other recommendations on 18" sets that would clear my BBK and are very high quality? I'm willing to spend some $ in this department.

    btw those tires are RS3s

    JR,
Some very good picks! Love the Advans and in 19" they really don't weigh much more than their 18" version.

If I'm comparing two sets of wheels and tires - 18" and 19" and say tire brand and size & wheel brand are constant - if their weight is just about equal or say 1lb off per set, am I missing something as to other benefits of the 18s?? I didn't realize how light these Advans were....and 19s look SO much better IMO. Any help would be appreciated as I have a day or so to finalize.

I personally think 19's look better. Although with 18's you have a bigger tire selection, its cheaper and you can fit a thicker profile tire for more grip. Not sure how much of a power difference you will see with between 18 and 19. Although, Ive seen a ~30hp increase switching from 20 to 18 though.

The advans are really a good wheel and are super light. I think those would look the best out of my suggestions on your car.
