They do complain they are just told this is a normal thing and they all do it. This is simply false information as our kit does not do it hence the 3 Bov's we use.

The red manifold is one of our free powdercoated manifolds just like our black ones. The blue on the other hand is a custom paint job requested by the customer.

Isn't it dangerous for that to happen?

So what is it about that design that causes it?

not sure how to capture that. I suppose i have enough camera's.. I am thinking i would have to log it as well to show tps, and add in the vbox for acceleration.. it seems rather tricky for a weekend warrior like myself..

I think it can be shown with a couple go pros one over the pedals and one over the speedometer along with feedback from the driver.

This is potentially a huge issue.

Very true Andrew. Seems like there is nothing about this pretty significant issue to be foun! I even noticed these graphs posted there with minimal attention. Can't read people's minds but it is easy to ignore something you don't want to see. Had to find it on like page 5 to read and reply. Really sad if people can't open their eyes to a great, new product. Even those who prefer ESS or other companies should be excited for these kits and prices - going to make everyone step up their game in both aspects! These graphs look Click here to enlarge

Yep, DCT - love it! Are you DCT as well? Leased an '08 M3 in 2008 and had a Continental GT (tune, tubi exhaust, etc. 600whp) and a 997.2 C4S w/ PDK in between. Missed the M3 but wanted something a bit faster - problem solved! What are you planning on going for next?

Yeah AutoCouture has done some of my cosmetic work and MaximumPSI for my performance stuff - both are great shops! I am usually at AutoCouture a few times a month or so just hanging out...fun spot to chill at and see all their projects. I stole Sal's quad projector setup idea Click here to enlarge I love having the inner bulbs at 2500k projectors. Lalit, David, Sal and everyone is cool as hell...they even welcome an AA guy like myself Click here to enlarge . Perfect place to find some ESS owners who are down for a friendly comparison with the new AA kit that will hopefully be on my car.

I've been slacking on my posts here but as I am more dedicated to my car hobby you'll definitely see me around here more. Most importantly my license isn't suspended anymore so I don't have to drive a family car at 65mph anymore! I'll definitely take your advice on starting a new thread with some pics and details about my car, mods and history. Although I did cheat and buy it with 90% of the mods on there. Can't blame a guy for buying a 2011 fully loaded (comp, EVERYTHING) coupe with $50k of work on it and 13k miles for lets say "well under" $70k Click here to enlarge . Anyway not trying to thread jack - hopefully we'll see some of my dynos on here! Was telling Akash would love to meet up when the weather is a bit better and we can all have some fun with the cars. Look forward to meeting you in the near future.

I'll try to dig up the paperwork on it. Bought it with a lot of work done to it but now that you mention it 600whp doesn't seem right because of the AWD. Hmm seems like 700 crank would be more likely (550 stock + tune + exhaust). Car had decent power but was soooo heavy! Sold it two years ago but I'll see what I can find - got me interested now! I don't want to be known for misleading numbers at all. Good call Sticky.

I'd expect something in the 5XX wheel range with those mods. No worries.

How did you like the car? I've toyed with the idea of picking one up.

Yep that sounds about right number wise.

They are nice cars for what they are (heavy luxury cruiser with some sport) but I would never pick up a preowned one again with 30k+ miles. I know some of the preowned deals are tempting but in my case the idea was better than the actuality. They are terrible with reliability and insanely expensive to fix. Stupid little problems seem to be common like for the windows to stop working ($5k+ fix). Not many mechanics want to touch them so even getting little problems looked at ends up being quite expensive and inconvenient. I would only consider one that has the warranty still intact and would not do anything to void that warranty. All the maintenance expenses of a super car without the fun IMO. I drove a CL63 extensively which felt pretty similar minus the AWD. In the future I would consider a drop top for cruising around or a future wifey. I hear the new ones with the V8 instead of the W12 are supposed to be better reliability wise. Let me know if you have any specific questions, I'd be glad to help!

    Andrew,
Next time I dyno I think I may see a bit more than that. I'm sure the wheels will help, but now that the new s/c kit is en route to me I think we will see some fun figures Click here to enlarge. Thanks again man - can't say enough good things about the service thus far.
