    Sir, congratulations.

I believe this is officially the most powerful supercharged S54, correct?

Not sure if it is the most powerful but that would be cool. Unfortunately I did not get an AFR graph but it is now leaning out right around 12 at redline.

Was that on pump or race fuel?

Seriously, pump or race? What psi?

So you got a 50whp difference between the VF tune and OE tune?

Congrats! I knew Jeremy would do wonders on a VF car! I am very interested in your thoughts about the drivability between the two kits...

12 at redline is MUCH better than what you were at before and perfectly fine, especially since you run 93 octane.

Have you thought about adding a meth kit for safety and consistency?

Highest one I know of is 582 WHP.. I'm curious if that was on race fuel or pump. If it was on pump.. Oh lordy.. look out HPF lol.. That kind of linear power would probably beat a HPF car in the 1/4 mile.

No it probably wouldn't. Besides this car is comparable to a HPF Stg 2.5 or 3 because it has a built motor.

But definitely VERY impressive and VERY nice power curve. Im still very curious to find out the psi and octane.

Same here, PSI and octane but I would think this is race gas.

    Hello all,

Very busy yet again on the dyno today...

Few tuning notes on Andrew's car:

Stock head, Pauter rods with CP drop in pistons.
The supercharger appeared to be dragging at idle due to being a bit "over-pullied", started to nose up off top/slippage. Boost was 16psi.
The air filter was tiny and insanely dirty, needs replacement.
    AFR's were below 12.0:1.
93 octane, Brand of gas unknown - drive right off the street. NO W/M.
100 Degrees in the dyno cell, we had trouble getting the car good airflow at this power level.

    93 octane? Wow, no meth?

Edit: I see no meth, just 93 pump, wow!

This isn't going to be the last we will see of VF hardware getting tuned by OE, that is fore sure.

93 octane and 100 degree heat, amazing.

Man, I would love to see how much extra power he can squeeze out of the Stg. 2! I think Nik needs to really look at getting away from GIAC after seeing these results!

The Stage 2's have been pushed too far as is from what we have seen. I don't know if I would expect power gains rather than a cleaned up curve and proper air/fuel ratios with meth on 91 octane.

Nik won't get away from GIAC as they have an exclusive deal but from what I have seen here I don't really have quite as much respect for GIAC's abilities in the BMW realm.

That's actually a great question, I'm wondering if OE can just tackle any application including something like yours.

Keep in mind though.. a custom tune will ALWAYS be better than anything off the shelf. When making a tune for the masses, you have to sacrifice because every car will be slightly different.
