360* view from Red Bull F1 car

    Very cool.

The Norwegian company released its latest collaboration with Red Bull, fitting the firm’s custom-developed camera system atop one of the energy drink dynasty’s F1 cars and giving driver Sébastien Buemi a chance to tackle the track.

OK, that was a first for me.
360 degrees video is the bomb.
I hope they will have this feature from now on during television coverage.
That would make collision registration 100% more easy.

It's very cool no doubt but it's not a 360 degree view. It's still a static 180 degree view that allows you real time 360 degree angles.

And how long did it take F1 to get transmitted in HD? Let's see, for the 1st time Formula 1 officially was not broadcast in HD until 2011. All the other stuff you saw was just an upscaled signal, it wasn't true HD.

Now this is a bit tougher because it depends on the area you live in. But if you live in a major state like New York then you should've gotten to see normal HD broadcasts at around 2004-05. So it took what? 6 or 7 years for F1 to adopt this technology, and might I add, they didn't even want it!!!! It was forced out of them!!!
