    Are MAF cars considered to have better drivability than speed density systems? I've never owned a MAF turbo car, both have been MAP.

    From the factory it has a maf. A lot of Porsche tuners say the car runs like crap if you try to eliminate the maf. I got rid of all my intake piping and shoved kn cones directly on the turbos, eliminated the maf, and it drives very close to stock.

    Why not some 3rd gear 60 mph runs instead of spinning in second?? It just makes more sense.

    they ran a handful of times and tried different start speed plus 60mph is 1000hp car roll start territory so it really doesnt make more sense.

    You can run from any MPH with any amount of HP you just tailor it to the conditions. On that day, seems like a higher start speed would have benefited the M3.

    we could have done it, but these bursts were short and with a slipping clutch and one pcar needing a tow, i dont think either of us was too eager to test the limits Click here to enlarge

    yes after 3 years of abuse on fully stock trans i lost 3rd gear Sunday night. no biggie, its not a DCT so it wont take me 10 years to fix it.

    Once it's fixed it still won't shift as fast a DCT. 10 years from now or not.

    ahh sorry you misunderstood what i wrote, responding to your DCT comment. i was referring to the DCT not the Veyron, GTR Trans or Porsche PDK. BTW all 3 of those can hold more torque then DCT out of the box and not melt or go into overheat mode. Click here to enlarge

    Really? So the new M5 is melting then since it is a DCT? You realize DCT refers to dual clutch transmission which is what the Veyron, GTR, and Porsche PDK have right? Just a big melting fest apparently.

    Hate to let you know but you cant beat this car Twin FP GT30 turbos at 17 psi of boost.
    If he turns it up to 1.5 bar thats 22psi of boost the car will be a rocket.

    I do love the fact that your out there and run anything no matter what.
