    mir private track rental 10/18

Mods are e50 Pro tune by PTF Jake (not finalized yet, still tweaking), intake, dp, fmic. Also full weight with stock catback. I'm a relative noob to this, so hopefully I can launch better next time. DA was 862 for this run. Was hoping for some of that magic negative da at MIR but it was not to be. Maybe next month? lol

Glad you enjoyed it rich. We can finish up the tune before the next meet. Not bad for only being about 75% done with the fine tuning Click here to enlarge

With better shifting in 1-2 and 2-3, that 1/8th mile trap will pick up to 94-95mph...given you've pulled off 30mph on the back half I predict you'll be 120+mph trap easily with your current mods with a bit of a driver mod Click here to enlarge

    2nd gear launching at 3k. 2-3 redline and then 3-4 6000-6100.

DA was about the same for us, 830ish.

    its all about boost/afr/timing

    what boost were you seeing?

if you can maximize boost, as aggressive timing as you can, and keep AFR in check, i see no reason why you cant get into the 92/93 mph 1/8 and pull off a 121-123 trap. That would indicate about 420-430 hp

The ET is all about traction. if you lose traction early in the rpms, its gonna inflate your mph, if you lose traction high in the rpms, its going to slow you down, both will give you a slower ET though

    what tires, at what psi?

Pretty impressive time and trap speed especially for no meth. This is going to tempt me into getting a protune, but I really want to establish a baseline with Cobb's OTS E30 map.

LM I was on MT ET street drag radials at 25psi. I didn't launch very hard as obvious by the 60ft. I'm so anxious to get back out there again lol and improve. There should be a rental sometime next month. Oh yea I would definitely recommend the pro tune. The OTS map is good but the pro tune maps just rip! Of course this is butt dyno speaking but I could tell the difference.

KC, another customer of Jakes ran 11.92 @ 117.7 on a 335is dct with the same mods and a slightly lower e85 mix. ON STOCK RUNFLATS. He also trapped 119.1 on a different run. PTF FTW. lol

I'm sure it does, but I really really want a baseline first lol. Just with Stage 2+, downpipes and intercooler I did 12.3@117mph with a terrible 2.17 60ft and 93 octane, so I want to see how much the OTS E30 map improves it by, and then finally step it up with a protune. Click here to enlarge

Next time you guys do a private track day at MIR let me know. It's about a 3 hour drive for me but may be worth it.

119 with no meth, WOW. That's fast. Very, very nice times. I've given up my quest for 1/4mi track records. You can't buy a driver mod LOL. My new goal will be some 60-130 records. I won't have to make that last shift like Terry. haha
