Congrats to PTF. I think that's the first Cobb car I've seen beat a jb4 car with similar mods. Great job PTF!

Thanks to @jhershorin for my ProTune, the Pump Gas ProTune hauls ass & with it being ~60 out it def helps free up some extra ponies .... The 2nd run was my favorite since I started behind & wanted to nail down the W after catching back up.

Planning to break out the E85 ProTune next weekend & take it to that E55 in the vid Click here to enlarge

nice runs...i have much respect for the cobb..my 335 always felt like it liked the cobb better than the JB..question though..these cars dont have exhaust..is that still considered FBO? I always thought FBO was Intake, FMIC, DP, and Exhaust

fbo for 335i's is usually considered inake, tune, downpipes, and fmic. the factory 335i exhaust isnt as restrictive as some might think!

nice runs, cobb car def has more pulling power in the higher speeds. weight still matters, but matters less in roll races. i think if the jb4 car had a fmic, things would have been closer, but a cobb pro tune is hard to beat!

Well, FMIC matters, especially at high speed.

I have a friend here, with a cobb tune FBO + meth, same as me.
But he is pussy and doesn't wanna do highway long pulls, so we can make a fair comparison jb4 - cobb.

FWIW, the difference before/after our pro tune with meth and anything OTS including the race/e30 maps is really significant...

An FMIC isn't going to increase power like a Tune or DPs will. More than anything, it'll provide consistent power numbers by being less susceptible to heatsoak. Luckily it's been really cool out (50s at night) so you're IATs are at a great starting point.

The ProTune is worth every penny though, just make sure you get your car to the point where you're done modding & then hit up PTF to really expose the N54s power

What about IAT ending point ? Even at 50F ,with stock tinny IC the heatsoak comes to play.Click here to enlarge
Consistent power is what i am talking about.
    I am FBO+meth, JB4 G5 and i'll never switch to Cobb.Click here to enlarge

Congrats?? Even if you wanna just look at the 1st run (when the OEM hasn't been heatsoaked), the COBB pulls away ~36 seconds in. Like I said, the 2nd run was still my favorite when the JB4 got the jump & I was still able to overtake him

Could do that -- He's also got a meth kit. If I run my E85 tune next time, I'd be up for running against a JB4 with pump gas + Meth
