Let's hope it's better than the last one. I'm going to see it of course as it's a car movie.

A lot of people seemed to like the last one. But I thought it sucked balls. It was supposed to be a car movie but it was a normal heist movie, like Ronin but with bad actors instead. There was this funny part in that movie that made me go WTF?!

I think Paul Walkers character says to Vid Diesel's: "Let's go get some cars!" And then the next scene is the garage door opens and "new cars" just drive right in.

Hopefully there are more cars this time around and races. Wasn't a fan of the last one.

It would be interesting if Statham is in to play the same character as in Transporter. Agree that they need way more car stuff than in the last one. If we have to watch 20 minutes of a vault being dragged across town again, I'm going to puke.

Just rewatched it, don't watch it expecting something better than Fast & Furious. Here's my ranking (after 5 it gets bad really fast):
    1. Fast & Furious (2001)
    2. Gone in 60 Seconds
    3. Born to Race / Fast 5
    4. Talladega Nights
    5. Death Race
    6. Fast & Furious (2009)
    7. Redline
    8. Biker Boyz
    9. 2 Fast, 2 Furious
    10. Tokyo Drift

If you like F1 or in the mood for something with a deeper story, I highly recommend watching Senna

I actually liked it so much, besides taking the quote in my sig from the movie, I spent days on the internet looking for a version to download with the subtitles.

Way at the bottom of your list can be the movie "Driven"
Probably the worst car movie I ever went to the cinema for.

#4 on that list should goto #1. Talladega Nights was probably the most popular recent racing movie, even if it wasn't serious. It appealed to a MUCH larger audience(NASCAR #1 spectator sport) than a F&F movie ever could.

There are also a number of unforgettable scenes: The family dinner, 1st meeting the french man, fake invisible fire, his two bratty kids. That is just off the top of my head.

I am sure this new F&F will be horrible like all of them.

    I didn't narc on nobody!

I thought Talladega Nights sucked. I walked out of the theatre.
